Gordon Shadrach is a portrait artist whose work is now featured at the Royal Ontario Museum and who explores issues of identity within Canada's black community. Shadrach's compelling use of acrylic on wood panel, often finished with antique or salvaged frames creates a brilliant visual and narrative statement.
